A little history about Salvatore Ferragamo scarves:

Fulvia, the daughter of Salvatore and Wanda Ferragamo, was born on 2 July 1950. It was she who would create the exclusive silk scarves and ties produced in textile printing works in Como. At first, designers working in-house at the Como printing works were employed, but it was later decided to use professionals and illustrators on contract and employees from within the company. However, as Creative Director of the silk collections, the initial idea was always Fulvia’s, and she who decided on the colour combinations for each design. Fulvia’s passing on 25 April 2018 has left a great void. Nevertheless, her imagination continues to live on thanks to the members of the creative team she herself trained over the years, and the company’s historic archives. The latter, where all the prints from past collections, proofs, sketches and sources of inspiration are preserved, is a unique heritage that allows the magic created by the Lady of Silk in years gone by to flourish unaltered.
