1920s - 30s Whiting And Davis Celluloid Chain Handle Off-White Metal Mesh Bag. This pretty bag features a cream colored celluloid purse frame and chain handle, as well as an off-white metal mesh body design. The interior is lined with a dark purple faille fabric and has an extra pocket compartment. The Whiting & Davis tag can be found on the inside of the bag.
Flaws to note: The closure is broken and needs to be fixed, it is missing the snap that allows the mechanism to lock into the purse to close. On the bottom of the bag, some of the paint on the metal mesh design has rubbed off in the corners. Some minor scuffs on the purse frame(Please see photos).
