1920s Whiting And Davis Gold & Black Enamel Art Deco Metal Mesh Dancing Purse. This gorgeous piece features gold tone metal mesh with a black enamel painted geometric deco design both front and back. Chain handle connected to a matching gold kiss-lock frame painted with black enamel paint. The bottom of the bag has a matching fringe design in metal mesh and ball chain links. “Whiting And Davis” stamp can be found on the interior of the bag’s frame. Flaws to note: There is missing / rubbed off black enamel paint on the purse frame and on some of the patterned design from wear. There is a bit of metal verdigris that can be cleaned up on a small area inside the frame. (Please see photos)
