1940s Nellie Louise Velour Maple Leaves Detail Hat. This beautiful 40s treasure features a luxurious soft black velour hat covered around the brim by black velour maple leaves! There is a large bow made in the same velour fastened under the brim. The inside tag reads "Nellie Louise, 576 Madison Avenue, New York". The only flaw to note is the elastic hat band has detached in one area needing a stitch or the wearer could remove it completely. (See photos.) Otherwise the hat is in excellent vintage condition with no major flaws.
